Church Hallway Floor Mosaic

Mosaic art originally appeared and flourished in churches. Byzantine churches used to be covered with golden mosaics, and mosaic art remains to date an integral part of churches’ interiors. As hallway flooring, mosaic can make a very elegant and royal entrance to relatively big churches, as seen in this picture.
